Twenty Pershing County High School girls soccer players and its coaches are hoping for a big turnout at their home soccer tournament this weekend.
The Mustangs will host Lowry, White Pine, Fernley, Elko, West Wendover, Yerington and Spring Creek.
On Thursday at 7 p.m. Pershing County will play the Lowry JV.
On Friday, the games start at 12:15 p.m. with Pershing County playing Fernley at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday's games begin at 9 a.m. Pershing plays Spring Creek at 11:30 a.m. and Elko at 2 p.m.
The three games are on the turf field.
The grass soccer field will also get a workout over the weekend.
There will also be boys games over the two days.
Six Lovelock girls will play their first high school soccer games.
This year's freshmen include Valerie Franco, Riley Harvey, Lexie Portillo, Ariana Garcia, Annika Happy and Sugeiley Valtierra.
