Robert W Burns passed away on July 27, 2022. He was born on October 13, 1955, in Canton, IL to Alvin E and Joan J (Heiken) Burns.
Robert (Bob) married Flora on August 6, 1977, in their hometown of Princeville, IL. Bob and Flora were married 44 years.
The two had no children.
Bob went to Bible College and Seminary, then various locations where he served as church pastor.
They lived in Springfield, IL; Wheaton, Carol Stream, and Aurora, IL; Denver/Englewood, Co; Stoughton, Westborough and Hudson, MA; Amarillo, TX; and Orovada, NV.
He was preceded in death by his wife (Flora) on May 5, 2022, his parents, his brother (Gary), and his sister, Barb Jones.
He is survived by his sister, Trish (Alex) Alexander, his sister-in-law, Debbie Burns, and her two daughters, Candace and Annarose, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends from his life.
A private burial service will be at Orovada Cemetery on August 10, 2022.
