Dozens of major leaguers, minor leaguers and tee ballers marched from the courthouse to Emmett Cook Jr. Field on Saturday. Once there, they played their first baseball games of the year.
Ball players from four to 12 years old started practice last month. They’ll have plenty of opportunity to compete before the major league championships on May 19. Games are Monday through Thursday from 5:20-7:05 p.m.
