The Lowry High School swim team traveled to Incline on Friday, April 1, for a dual with North Tahoe.
The Lakers defeated the Buckaroo boys 105-55 and the North Tahoe girls won 160-27.
Tea Bengoa and Tajia Taylor won individual events for the Lady Bucks. Bengoa was tops in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2 minutes, 46.57 seconds. She placed fifth in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 34.43.
Taylor won the 100-yard backstroke, stopping the clock at 1:51.02 and she was seventh in the 50-yard freestyle (36.48).
Evie organ finished third in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 3:19.90 and was sixth in the 50-yard freestyle at 36.39.
On the boys side, Matthew Lizanetz won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:32.88 and he led the way in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:111.72. Garret Jensen was the runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:05.39 and he was third in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:39.04.
Tanner hatch earned a third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 29.46 and was fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:46.36).
Caden Montero placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:34.03 and was fifth in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:16.74.
The 200-yard medley relay of Hatch, Montero, Lizanetz and Jensen were second with a time of 2:20.69 and the foursome were second in the 200-yard relay at 1L56.75.
Lowry was off this past weekend and travels to Reno on Friday to swim against North Valleys.
