Lisa Louise deRijk, 48, passed away on March 16, 2022, in Winnemucca, Nevada.
She was born on May 3, 1973, to John William Gilbert and Edna Jane Salmon in Ely, Nevada.
She lived in Ely, Nevada for the first 3 years of her life and then moved to Winnemucca, Nevada.
Upon graduating high school, Lisa attained her Cosmetology License in Carson City, NV and then went to Denver, Colorado for 5 years, where she worked at a hair salon as a hairstylist.
She eventually made her way back to Winnemucca where she married Menno deRijk in 2008 and the two had one child, Emily Jane deRijk.
In Winnemucca, Lisa worked at Club 40 Bar and at the Hair Salon in Walmart. She enjoyed watching movies and doing arts and crafts.
Her friends and family will miss her dearly, especially her sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband, Menno deRijk, child, Emily deRijk and her brother, Larry Justesen, as well as many others who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John William Gilbert and Edna Jane Salmon.
