The Battle Mountain High School boys golf team enjoyed the home cooking of its home course to place second on Wednesday, March 30.
Seven other teams from around Nevada visited Mountain View Golf Course, where the weather was ideal.
Battle Mountain shot 4-7 on the day, with Max Villanueva leading the way with a round of 85.
Brice Domagala carded a 92 and Colton Mills shot 94. Dalton Shake finished with a 136.
Battle Mountain travels to Round Mountain on Friday for a tournament hosted by Tonopah.
The Longhorns will be in Fallon on Tuesday, April 12.
