On Monday June 28,2021 Katherine Lenora Bloyed McCoskey (also known as “Kathy”) passed away peacefully with her son at her side. Kathy was 87 years young.
Born April 22, 1934 in Joplin, Missouri. She moved to California at a young age with her family.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Edward (Punk) Bloyed, mother, Hazel, brothers Meryl and David, sister Thelma.
Kathy is survived by her sister Helen, her children Peggy and Edward, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, nephews and nieces plus numerous friends.
Kathy lived a very full and colorful life with a work ethic to match.
She retired from her career at Coeur Rochester Mine at the age of 73, spending 23 years there, then remaining in Lovelock, Nevada until her death.
Kathy was an artist. A very talented painter.
She loved motorcycles.
She enjoyed taking road trips. She loved and enjoyed her friends.
Kathy was kind and had a very compassionate spirit. She is loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
