Gail Piquet scored 71 points to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Tin Whistle tournament held Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Melissa Murphy was second in the first flight with 56 points and Terri Kracaw (54) was third. Laurie Pickett was first in the second flight with 60 points and Di An Putnam and Jerry Ann Fenkell tied for second with 48 points apiece.
Kay Billingsley was first in the third flight with 30 points and Susan Quilici was second at 20.
Piquet had the fewest putts with 26 and Cassie Morgan and Kracaw had the fewest putts with 26 apiece. Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 5 feet, 2 inches and Lynda Walton was closest on No. 5 at 7-2.
