The Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team closed out its home schedule this past Thursday night against rival Pershing County at Tim Knight Field.
The Lady Longhorns honored their five seniors in Jonica Barnson, Anyeli Guizar, Zarina Ceja, Charleen Gusky and Samantha Lefler.
Pershing County picked up the win on the night, scoring two goals in each of the halves.
The Lady Mustangs got on the board in the 23rd minute and scored nine minutes later to lead 2-0 at halftime. Pershing County scored six minutes into the second half and netted the final goal in the 67th minute.
Battle Mountain is scheduled to close out its season on Thursday at Sage Ridge.
