The Lowry High School girls soccer team saw their playoff chances take a hit after suffering a pair of losses on the road this past weekend.
Lowry traveled to Dayton on Friday afternoon and lost 2-0 to the Dust Devils. After a scoreless first half, Dayton netted two goals in the final 40 minutes to complete the season sweep of Lowry.
The Lady Bucks stayed in Lyon County and were back on the field early on Saturday morning to play Fernley. The first time the two teams played this season, Lowry won 3-1. The Vaqueros turned the tables on the Lady Bucks, winning the second meeting 3-1 and dropping Lowry to 2-6 in the Northern 3A East.
Lowry played its home finale on Tuesday against Spring Creek and results were not available at press time. Lowry closes out its season on Thursday with a road trip to Elko for a 3:45 p.m. start.
