The Battle Mountain High School girls golf team closed out its fall season at the NIAA 2A State Championships on Oct. 12-13 at Toiyabe Golf Club in Washoe Valley.
The Lady Longhorns placed sixth with a two-day total of 1,331.
The Meadows, from Las Vegas, won the state championship with an 849.
North Tahoe was second at 872 and West Wendover (1,113), Wells (1,122) and Yerington (1,276) rounded out the top five.
The Meadows’ Mizara Norton won the individual state championship with a total of 150 after rounds of 77 and 73. Incline’s Shannon Hugar was second at 176 and North Tahoe’s Libby Webb (184) was third.
Kiana Gonzalez led the Lady Longhorns and was 23rd with a two-day total of 305. Lisette Haney was 26th at 330, Hadlee Bauer placed 29th with t a total of 332 and Vanessa Gillogley placed 33rd at 364.
