Arlene June Muratore of Kings River Valley, NV died peacefully on October 8, 2021, at the home of her son, Martin and daughter-in-law, Wendy, surrounded by her loving family.
Arlene was born in Lodi, CA to Lester and Ruby Shaw on June 23, 1932. She was the eldest of ten children.
She attended French Camp Grammar School and graduated from Manteca High School in 1950. She married her childhood sweetheart, Charles Muratore in January 1953.
They lived in the farming town of French Camp, CA. In 1954, their son, Michael was born then Martin in 1956.
The boys were her pride and joy. She enjoyed her family and friends, dogs were her weakness, she would always feed a stray.
She also enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards and cooking for her family and friends.
She had a big heart and was generous to those in need. Arlene retired from the postal service where she had worked for many years.
Arlene is survived by her sons, Michael of Ellensburg, WA and Martin of Kings River, NV. Her sister, Andrea King of Nampa, CA and brother, Roy Vlaovich of Missouri.
Her 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Arlene is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Muratore, parents, Lester Shaw and Ruby Vlaovich, her brothers, Lester Shaw Jr. and Bob Vlaovich and her sisters, Rita Morris, Ramona Bogar, Edith Gable and Nikki Vlaovich.
Services for Arlene Muratore will be held on October 18, 2021. Rosary at 10:30 am and Mass at 11am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Burial to follow at the Orovada Cemetery in Orovada, NV.
