The Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team dropped matches to White Pine and West Wendover this past weekend.
Battle Mountain traveled to Ely on Friday and suffered a 5-0 loss to White Pine. The Ladycats netted two goals in the first half and added three more goals in the final 40 minutes.
Battle Mountain was in a rare position on Saturday, on its home field.
The Lady Longhorns took on West Wendover and were defeated 4-1. The Wolverines scored all four of its goals in the first half.
The Lady Longhorns prevented the shutout with a goal in the second half.
Battle Mountain is celebrating Homecoming week and hosts Whittell on Saturday at 12:45 p.m..
