September 21
David Joseph Hawkins pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense. The court ordered 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for one year on the condition two days are served with credit given for one day time served and the remaining 24 hours converted to 48 hours house arrest.
The court ordered a $400 fine + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee with a victim impact panel and DUI school to be completed. The breath interlock device was waived due to undue hardship.
Hawkins pleaded guilty to misdemeanor speeding and the court ordered a $45 fine + $50 administrative fee, both suspended on the condition there are no like violations of the law.
September 22
Rudy Bruce Leeth pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving.
The court ordered a $200 fine + $105 administrative assessment with credit given for one day time served and a victim impact panel ordered to be completed. A misdemeanor charge of driving while license is canceled/revoked/suspended was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court.
September 23
A misdemeanor domestic battery first offense charge against Ruben Mathias Gomez was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office with prejudice in open court as they could not prove the case without a reasonable doubt. A felony possession of a controlled substance charge against Ruben Mathias Gomez was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office with prejudice pursuant to plea agreement terms in open court.
Ruben Mathias Gomez pleaded no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery first offense. The court ordered a $200 fine + $105 administrative assessment + $35 special assessment. The court ordered 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for two years and credit for two days time served + 48 hours of community service to be completed and 26 sessions of batters intervention counseling and an order to surrender firearms signed by defendant.
A felony possession of a controlled substance charge against Richard Lightning Thunderhorse was dismissed with prejudice pursuant to plea agreement terms.
In a separate case, Thunderhorse pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense. The court ordered 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for one year on the condition two days are served, with credit for one day time served and the remaining 24 hours to be served by October 31, 2021.
The court ordered a $400 fine + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee with a victim impact panel and DUI school ordered to be completed and a breath interlock device ordered for 185 days
