For the first time, the Fallon Ladies Golf Club joined the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club for a tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Melissa Murphy shot a low-net score of 32 to win the first flight of the Eclectic tournament. Lori Woodland was second in the first flight at 32.5 and Fallon’s Rita Houifen (33.5) was third.
Laurie Pickett claimed the top spot in the second flight at 32 and Fallon’s Chelle Dalager (33) placed second. Fallon’s Terri Peck was third with a round of 33.5.
Bryn Echevarria was low net in the first flight and Shane Miller (29.5) and Maria Bengochea (31) was second and third, respectively.
Pickett had the fewest putts with 28 and Carole Doughty had two chip-ins.
Echevarria was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 17 feet, 3 inches and Houifen was closest on No. 5 at 2-3.
Criers tournament
Gail Piquet shot a low-gross score of 90 to win the first flight of the Criers tournament held on Tuesday, Sept. 21. Adua Boyle was low net the first flight at 65.
Laurie Pickett was low gross in the second flight at 99 and Maria Bengochea was low net at 69.
Bryn Echevarria had the fewest putts at 31. Terri Kracaw was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 10 feet, 3 inches and Boyle was closest on No. 5 at 15-3.
