Gus Munoz Jr passed away on October 31, 2021, at Humboldt General Hospital at the age of 44.
He was born on February 18, 1977, in Winnemucca, NV to Gustavo Sr and Bonnie Munoz.
He was a long-time resident of Winnemucca, Gus graduated from Lowry High School with the class of 1996, he then went on to receive an degree in Electrical and became an electrician and maintenance worker.
Gus enjoyed watching and playing basketball, his favorite player was Michael Jordan. He enjoyed taking his dog for walks and he enjoyed being around his family.
He had an amazing personality and sense of humor that made anyone he encountered laugh. In his lifetime he formed numerous friendships and he always put others first.
He is survived by his parents, Gustavo and Bonnie Munoz, his brothers, Richard Munoz, Gus Munoz and Abran Munoz and his sister, Natalie Munoz.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Miguel Munoz and Socorro Gutierrez, his uncle Raul Munoz, and Aunt Guadalupe Munoz.
The family of Gus Munoz would like to thank the HGH EMS crew, the HGH Hospital staff and D3 Church.
Services for Gus Munoz Jr. will be on November 23, 2021, at 11 am at the D3 Church burial of his ashes to follow at the Winnemucca Cemetery.
