Dawn Leah Dominguez, 62, passed away on November 3, 2021 at her home in Winnemucca, NV.
She was born on November 24, 1958 to Carroll Kay and Raymond Alfred Elizondo in Winnemucca, NV.
She spent many years in Lovelock, NV, graduating from Pershing County High School with the class of 1977.
In 2004, she relocated back to Winnemucca. She was a Caregiver Supervisor for Home Health Care of Northern Nevada.
Dawn married Moises Dominguez in 1985. The two shared over 30 years together, a lifetime of love and laughter and 3 wonderful children.
She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness.
She loved thrifting, decorating her home and attending all of her grandchildren’s many games and school events.
Dawn was overjoyed to be welcoming her first great-grandchild in the Spring of 2022. She was well known around Winnemucca and always had a kind word and smile for anyone she met.
She is survived by her husband, Moises Dominguez Sr., children, Misty (Rob) Crawford, Gina (Jason) Bates, and Moises “Moy” (Angela) Dominguez, her grandchildren, Marissa, Alyssa, Makenna, and Ethan Garcia, Gloria, Leah and Moises Dominguez III, and Truly and Truth Crawford and her great-grandchild, Baby Layla coming in the Spring of 2022.
She is also survived by her brother, Daniel (Cindy) Elizondo and her sister, Delia (Mike) Severns.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Kay Davidson and Raymond A. Elizondo, her grandparents, Cora Kay and Alfred Kaufman and her sister, Denise D. Elizondo.
Services for Dawn Dominguez were held on November 6, 2021.
The family would like to thank the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for all their love and support.
They also send heartfelt thanks to everyone that sent flowers, food and cards. The overwhelming love and support the family has felt has been truly appreciated.
