October 12

Lenny Dean Jakich pleaded no contest to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense. The court ordered 60 days jail with 50 days stayed for two years on the condition ten days are served, with credit given for one day time served and the remaining nine days converted to 18 days of house arrest + a $750 fine + $140 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee + DUI school and a victim impact panel to be completed + breath interlock device ordered for 185 days with credit for 73 days given leaving 112 days to complete. 



October 14

Felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance against Kylee Nicole Bennett were dismissed with prejudice on a motion by the DA’s office



October 20

Matthew Lee Tyler was found to be not guilty of a misdemeanor basic speed 1-10 over limit charge and the case was dismissed.



October 21

A misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance charge against Crystal Adelle Doty was dismissed without prejudice on a motion by the DA’s office. 



Selene Cota pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving, amended from an original charge of driving under the influence with one prior conviction within the last seven years. The court ordered a $750 fine + $140 administrative assessment. A misdemeanor charge of duty of driver to decrease speed under certain circumstances was dismissed. 



Jamie Faye Rose pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving, amended from an original charge of driving under the influence with one prior conviction within the last seven years. The court ordered a $750 fine + $140 administrative assessment. 



A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia charge against Gisela Mendoza was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office with prejudice pursuant to plea negotiations.
