The Battle Mountain High School softball team was knocked out of the Northern 2A Regional Championships at Pershing County High School in Lovelock on Saturday with a 12-2 loss to Silver Stage. The Nighthawks went on to the championship game and lost 14-7 to Yerington.
The Lady Longhorns, who graduate four players in Ashlynn Newkirk, Reagan Buller, Jackie La Riva and Adriana Robles finished the year at 14-3.
