Wendy Sue (Naucke) Palmer passed away on May 11, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was born on January 18, 1964 to Jerry and Ann (Marton) Naucke in Worland, Wyoming.
She attended Worland High School where she was a diver for the swim team.
She graduated with the class of 1982 and moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. There she met and married Joe Palmer on June 16, 1983.
Together the two shared 37 wonderful years, as well as 5 children, all boys, Jarred, Eric, Ryan, Phillip, and Kyle.
Wendy was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and Joe’s soul mate.
She was a wonderful person with a heart of gold and an infectious smile who was loved by all. She loved being around family and friends especially her 3 grandchildren, Ethan, Alice, and Mason.
She loved animals, quilting, crocheting, cooking, being outdoors, fishing, camping, rock collecting and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband Joe Palmer of Winnemucca. Sons, Jarred Naucke of Reno, Ryan Palmer of Winnemucca, Phillip Palmer and Anna Salvatori of Winnemucca, Kyle Palmer and Shanel Brown of Reno. Grandchildren, Ethan, Alice, and Mason.
Her parents, Jerry and Ann Naucke of Worland, Wyoming, her sister Brenda (TJ) Naucke Smith of Elko, NV. Several brothers and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Eric Keith Palmer.
A Memorial Service for Wendy was held on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at Sonoma Funeral Home 47 W. First St Winnemucca, NV 89445.
