Ginger Lynn Odekirk, 42, died May 7, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 25, 1978 in Ely, Nevada.
Her family moved to Winnemucca in 1986 and she graduated from Albert M. Lowry High School in 1996. Ginger was a caregiver for 2 years with the Tungland Corporation.
She was married once for 15 years and had two children, Conscious Stettler and Nathan Stettler, later was divorced.
She had a third child, Phelony Grangruth.
She was involved with the community through the 4-H program in Winnemucca. Ginger enjoyed quality family time, car shows, and animals.
She is survived by her parents, Tom and Lorna Odekirk. Her three children, Conscious and Nathan Stettler and Phelony Grangruth, her grandchild, Lyiam Brown.
She also is survived by her sister, Kim (Brad) Anhalt. Her aunts, Silvia (Dave) Howard, Linda (John) Hargis, and Trudy (Tim) Sylvester.
Plus the many cousins, friends and kids whom she was a mother figure to at the skatepark that are not listed.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest Sanders, Nadine Mace, and Archie and Loween Wood. Uncle, Gary Kidder and Cousin Edwin Fightmaster.
At her request no services will be held. A family gather with friends will be held at a later date.
