Carole Doughty shot a low-net score of 79 wo win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club accuracy tournament held Tuesday, May 4, at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Piquet was second in the first flight with a round of 86 and Lori Woodland (88) was third.
Laurie Pickett was low net in the second flight at 74, followed by Della Domingo (79) and Jerry Fenkell (87).
In third flight that played nine holes, Vicki Celio was low net at 37. Melissa Murphy (48.5) was second and Maria Bengochea (49.5) placed third.
Piquet had the fewest putts with 30 and Di An Putnam and Lori Warnert had chip-ins. Murphy was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 4 feet, 10 inches and Lynda Walton was closest on No. 5 at 8-7.
Pickett was the only player on the day with no penalties.
