Patricia Ann Powell, 58, passed away on May 1, 2021 at her home in Winnemucca, NV. She was born on August 17, 1962 in Redding, CA to Mary and Charlie Crowl.
She was the middle child of the 5 children.
Patty married Jay Powell on April 7, 1984. The two shared many wonderful years, happy memories and two amazing children: Jay and Makenna.
In 1993, the family moved from Reno, NV to Winnemucca, NV due to a job change.
She worked many places in Winnemucca including the Humboldt County School District, Walmart, Marigold and Candlewood Suites.
She was also incredibly involved at the Pleasant Senior Center in Winnemucca, she cooked in the kitchen and the meals on wheels truck… the one zooming around corners making sure everyone got their meals while they were still warm!
Patty absolutely loved her family and fur babies. She loved camping, ½ marathons, triathlons, biking, water aerobics, Zumba, reading and any time spent with her friends.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Jay Powell. Children, Jay (Stephanie) Powell, and Makenna (Dane) Owen. Grandchildren, Teigan Owen and Peyton Owen. Her mother, Mary Crowl, brothers, Tom and Ted Crowl and sisters, Kathi Brouillette and Peggy Hill.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Crowl, grandparents, Harry and Maraget Crowl and Timothy and Eva O’Connor.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 1 pm at The Martin Hotel in Winnemucca, NV.
