Dale Roger Carlson passed away on April 22, 2021 at the age of 85.
He was born on August 9, 1935 in Sturgis, South Dakota to Louie and Anna Carlson.
He graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 1953 and started as a truck driver, which became his lifelong profession. Dale married Nathelle Mitchell (Carter) in 1971.
The family moved to California in 1972, then moved to Winnemucca in 1982 but after 3 years the family moved back to California and eventually moved back to Winnemucca in 1993.
Dale was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. When he lived in California, he joined a motorcycle club, and they would go riding to different places. He was very kind man who loved his family and was willing to help when needed, he will be missed.
He is survived by his children, Deborah (Michael) Odom, Mark Carlson, David Carlson and Philip Mitchell. Granddaughter, Adrianna Norman. Great-grandchildren, Xayvian Norman, Donovan Higley, and Aaliyah Peterson.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Nathelle Carlson. Parents, Louie and Anna Carlson and brother, Russell Carlson.
A Memorial Service will be held on May 15, 2021 on Zoom.
