The Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team picked up its first win of the season this past Saturday at home, with a 4-2 triumph over West Wendover.
The Lady Longhorns opened the year at home on Saturday, March 6, with an 8-0 loss to White Pine.
Battle Mountain traveled to Lovelock on Wednesday to face Pershing County.
Results were not available at press time. The Lady Longhorns are scheduled to host White Pine on Friday at 11 a.m.
There is no game for Battle Mountain on Saturday, with Sage Ridge not having a girls team.
Following this weekend, the Lady Longhorns will have one home game left against Pershing County on Wednesday, March 31.
