Union Township Justice Court

Items in the Court Docket are compiled from public records contained in the Union Township Justice Court and the Sixth Judicial District Court. 

The Humboldt Sun reports all felony hearings, misdemeanor convictions and dismissals for which the court releases information. When requested by the individual, the Sun will post the person’s mug shot with their court disposition.

Feb.18

Angel Hernandez Jr. pleaded no contest to misdemeanor resisting a public officer. 

The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit given for six days jail time served and the balance of $240 suspended for one year on the condition that there are no further like violations of the law. 



Kylee Nicole Bennett pleaded guilty in abstentia to misdemeanor drugs not to be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from an original felony possession of a controlled substance charge. 

The court ordered 90 days in jail with credit given for six days time served and the remaining 84 days suspended for one year on the condition she have no like violations of the law. 



Feb. 23

A misdemeanor driving with license suspended charge against Lucas James Proctor was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to negotiations, with the defendant to pay fees for misdemeanor count one: speeding 11-20 over following the hearing.
