Rosie Albisu of Winnemucca, Nevada died in an ATV accident on June 1st, 2021, at age 69. She was born March 1952, in Winnemucca, Nevada.
Rosie grew up in Winnemucca, Lovelock and then as a teenager moved to McDermitt, NV.
She graduated from McDermitt High School with the class of 1970. Upon graduation she attended Ponce Beauty College in Sparks, NV. Rosie married John Albisu in 1972 and they spent 46 wonderful years together in McDermitt. Rosie worked with John at their businesses and as a housewife.
Rosie enjoyed cooking, keeping up her house and yard, being a sister, raising her sons, laughing with friends, and listening to music.
Rosie was generous in giving and helping out others, providing her many talents.
Rosie is survived by her sons Ty (Linda) Albisu and Joseph Albisu. sister Sharon Meginness, brother Pat Scibior, sister Annie (Jim) Brossard, sister Lora (Shaw) Murdock Monemzadeh, sister Debbie Mummey, brother Michael Scibior, along with many loved in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband John Albisu. Parents Joe and Muriel. Parents Leslie “Red” Murdock, Laura Murdock, and George Knezevich; her sister Leslie Menkin and brother-in-law James Albisu.
As per Rosie’s wishes there will be no public services.
