Tonette Hornbarger was so right that the Buckaroo statue is ART !
But what an awful place to put it. Out in the weeds as you’re leaving town. Being so isolated, how long before it gets vandalized and graffiti’d?
The right place for a Buckaroo, the signature of our city is in the middle of town at the Convention Center. Put the log on the pedestal leaving town and the statue in a place of honor. I never could understand what a driftwood log had to do with Winnemucca anyway.
