Duane Eugene Boggio, 76, died July 5, 2021, at home in Minden, NV.
A lifelong Nevadan, Duane was born on November 13, 1944, to Joseph Maris Boggio and Geraldine Harvey Boggio.
He was raised in Paradise Valley, NV and lived there most of his life.
He attended school in Paradise Valley and graduated from Humboldt County High School in 1963.
He attended UNR for a short time before returning to Paradise Valley, where he worked on the family ranches.
In 1972, he and his wife, Margie bought the Sperry Ranch from his parents. He was a member of the Paradise Valley Fire Department and loved participating in the Father’s Day Barbecue every year.
He married Tammy Donna Miklethun in 1988 and they continued to operate the ranch until they sold it in 2017 and retired. After retirement, they relocated to Minden, NV.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy, her daughters, Bonita (Jim) Straw, April (Delbert) Meir, Teresa King. Granddaughter, Jessica (Carlos) Saldana. Brothers, Joe Jr (Meredith) Boggio, Harold (Sandra) Boggio, nephews, Robert (Donna) Boggio, Eric (Brenda) Boggio. Niece, Marla (John) Simmons. Great Nieces, Jessica Boggio, Megan (Jeremy) Schommer, BreeAnna Greenz, Great Nephews, Cody Boggio, Lane (Kali) Simmons and numerous great-great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Margie.
Graveside Services will be held in Paradise Valley on July 15, 2021, at 10:00 am.
