Union Township Justice Court

Items in the Court Docket are compiled from public records contained in the Union Township Justice Court and the Sixth Judicial District Court. The Humboldt Sun reports all felony hearings, misdemeanor convictions and dismissals for which the court releases information. When requested by the individual, the Sun will post the person’s mug shot with their court disposition.

Jan. 27

Floyd Travis Roith pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft, the court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit for time served given. 



Jan. 28

Gregg Alan Shelley Jr. pleaded no contest to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense.

The court ordered30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period for one year on the condition he serves two days, with 24 hours converted to 48 hours community service and credit given for one day time served. 

The court ordered a $400 fine + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee with a victim impact panel and DUI school ordered.

The breath interlock device was waived due to undue hardship. A misdemeanor resisting a public officer charge was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursusant to plea negotiations. 



Larry Randall Devine pleaded no contest to misdemeanor drugs which may not be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from an original felony possession of a controlled substance charge. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with fines and fees suspended on the condition that there be no like violations of the law. 



Feb. 1

A misdemeanor possession of game bird out of season charge against Carl Olmstead was dismissed by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations. 



Feb. 2

Rhianna Kuntz pleaded no contest to misdmeanor petit larceny. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with $500 suspended on the condition that there are no like violations of the law within two years. 



Feb. 3

Jocelyn Ann Manzo pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of count one: possession of drug paraphernalia and count two: driving while license is canceled/suspended revoked. On count one the cout ordered a $500 fine + $140 administrative assessment. On count two the court ordered a $250 fine + $105 administrative assessment wiht fines and fees converted to 21 days jail and credit for time served. 

A felony possession of a controlled substance charge against Jocelyn Ann Manzo was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to negotiations. 



Felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a controlled substance against Rikki Lee Sanchez were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office without prejudice.
