Union Township Justice Court

Items in the Court Docket are compiled from public records contained in the Union Township Justice Court and the Sixth Judicial District Court. The Humboldt Sun reports all felony hearings, misdemeanor convictions and dismissals for which the court releases information. Jan. 25

Howard Ray Yetter Jr. pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disturbing the peace, amended from an original felony unlawful dissemination of an intimate image. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit for one day time served.



A misdemeanor resisting a public officer charge against Howard Ray Yetter Jr. was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court pursuant to plea negotiations.



Ronald Lee Cummins II pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor basic speed 1-10 over the limit. The court ordered a $5 fine + $50 administrative assessment. 



Hussain Akbar pleaded guilty to misdemeanor basic speed too fast for conditions. The court ordered a $100 fine + $95 administrative assessment. A misdemeanor following too closely charge was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court pursuant to plea negotiations. 



Jan. 26

A misdemeanor basic speed 1-10 over the limit charge against Avenir Slivinskiy was amended to reflect rural speed on a motion by the DA’s office with the fines and fees to remain the same.



A misdemeanor basic speed 21-30 over the limit against Gavin Menchel was amended to reflect basic speed 1-10 over the limit on a motion by the DA’s office with a $195 total fine. 



Misdemeanor charges of battery and injury to or destruction of property against Oscar David Galarza were dismissed by the da’s office on a one-time dismissal in open court without prejudice.
