It was a quick summer for high school athletes, as the 2021 fall sports season is under way in Nevada. Football teams throughout the state started practice on Monday, Aug. 2, while the remainder of the sports (girls and boys soccer, girls and boys cross country, girls golf and volleyball) started their season this past Saturday. The first official games can start on Aug. 20.
