Drivers from around the Northern Nevada area made their way to Winnemucca this past weekend for two days of dirt-track racing. Friday night's action was cut short just before the start of the main events. The heat races were completed, but a rain storm hit during intermission and wiped the rest of the night out. Racers returned Saturday afternoon to complete the Friday main events and Saturday's action took place as well. Battle Mountain Raceway will hold races on Aug. 14.
