Michael R Cyr of Battle Mountain NV passed away on December 11, 2020 at the young age of 36.
He was born on August 27, 1984 in Elko Nevada.
He is survived by his parents Steve & Brenda Runestrand, Grandmothers Sylvia Sandoval of Battle Mountain, and Anna Runestrand of Roseville Ca. Brothers Joshua Cyr, Patrick Cyr, Nicholas Cyr, Bronson Runestrand and Dallas Runestrand.
Two cousins he considered his sisters Stephanie Wilcox (sissy) & Sabrina Sandoval ( Beaner). God parents Mike and Tina Bohl. Many aunts , uncles, cousins and many friends. Mikey had a kind old soul and always put his family first.
He had a sense of humor and was always the jokester especially with his mom. He love to cook and BBQ, Music, and cars.
Most of all always stayed positive, even through the unfortunate health circumstances he has had to deal with from day one of his life.
He was a true fighter and refused to give up. Family members would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Huntsman SLC hospital & The Battle Mtn Hospital for their ongoing love and support.
Especially through some of his most diffcult times.
May 8th the family will lay his ashes to rest and then with weather permitting at 1:00 we are throwing a party for Mikey. If the weather is bad we will have the party a the Nevada.
