On Saturday February 27, 2021 Butch succumbed to his battle with a rare lung disease at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He knowingly and peacefully made the transition into heaven surrounded by his family. He was 74 years old.
Butch was born on July 11, 1946 in Wooster, Ohio to Fay and Margaret Dall. He was raised in Yreka, California. He married Sandra (Berkey-Hilde) on July 11, 1983. He was blessed with 5 stepchildren, 11 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren, and was a very important part of their lives. He resided in Winnemucca, NV. He worked many years for and retired from the State of Nevada.
Butch was a humble and honest man who had many passions including spending time with his family, wood working, golf, board/card games, croquet and horseshoes.
Also, Butch was a world champion cribbage player. His woodworking left many loved ones with gifted projects. His time spent with all was unforgettable.
Butch is proceeded in death by his parents, his wife Sandra stepson David Hilde Jr, grandsons Carl Hyatt Jr, and Charlie and Tyler Wolf. He is survived by his Sisters Nan and Pat, brothers Henry and Andy, 5 nieces and 4 nephews, stepdaughters Kellie, Kathy and Karen, and stepson Dennis, 6 granddaughters, 3 grandsons and 20 great grandchildren.
His life was a gift to all of us. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date, TBD.
