March 25
Jason Garrett Looper pleaded no contest to misdemeanor drugs not to be introduced into interstate commerce, amended from an original felony possession of a controlled substance charge. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit given for six days time served.
Carly Hanyon pleaded no contest to misdemeanor disorderly conduct, amended from an original gross misdemeanor battery on a public officer. The court ordered a $250 fine + $105 administrative assessment with credit given for one day time served.
Francisco Javier Cardenas pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense. The court ordered 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for one year on the condition he serves two days with credit given for seven hours time served and the remaining 41 hours converted to 41 hours community service. The court ordered a $400 fine + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee + victim impact panel + DUI school + 185 days breath interlock device. A misdemeanor charge of failure to use due care was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
March 29
Anthony Efrain Morfin pleaded no contest to misdemeanor resisting a public officer. The court ordered a fine with credit given of six days time served, leaving a balance of $240.
March 30
Barbara Furgerson pleaded no contest to misdemeanor petit larceny. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment, suspended for two years on the condition there are no like violations by the defendant.
A misdemeanor expired license plate charge against Barbara Katherine Brosnan was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
Christopher Stettler failed to appear for an arraignment hearing on misdemeanor charges of no proof of insurance (dismissed), driving suspended/revoked (warning) and expiration and renewal or registration. The court forfeited the cash bail and closed the case.
A misdemeanor operating fictitious plates charge against Derek Van Liew was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
A misdemeanor suspended/revoked license plate charge against Bobby Lee Marley was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
Tresa Joanne Baxter failed to appear for an arraignment for a misdemeanor dog at large charge, the court forfeited the cash bail and closed the case.
