Sept. 1
Michael Ray Vazquez pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense. The court ordered 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for one year on the condition he serves two days converted to four days house arrest.The court ordered a $400 fine + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee and DUI school and victim impact panel were ordered and a breath interlock device for 185 days. Pursuant to negotiations a misdemeanor driving on a highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic charge was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
Riajanay Christine York pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft. The court ordered $300 restitution + $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with fines and fees suspended on the condition the defendant has no like violations of the law and that the restitution is paid in full.
Riajanay Christine York pleaded no contest to misdemeanor obtaining money or property by false pretenses. The court ordered $52.79 in restitution + $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with fines and fees suspended for two years on the condition the defendant has no like violations of the law.
Sept. 2
A misdemeanor battery charge against Aaron Wade Crutcher was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court as the DA informed the court that the witness in the case was not cooperating with his office; therefore the case could not be proven without a reasonable doubt.
Jorge Luis Fonseca pleaded no contest to count one: misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle while driver’s license is canceled/suspended/revoked and count two: operating a motor vehicle without having evidence of current insurance located therein.
The court ordered a $250 fine + $105 administrative assessment on count one and a $600 fine + $140 administrative assessment on count two with credit for five days time served and the balance of $345 suspended for one year.
Sept. 3
Felony possession of a controlled substance charge against Jolyn Faye Sam was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to a deferred prosecution agreement in open court. A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia charge in a separate case against Sam was also dismissed in open court on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to terms of a deferred prosecution agreement.
Paul Reynosa Jr. pleaded no contest to misdemeanor petit larceny, amended from an original felony grand larceny charge. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment.
Samantha Paterni pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor violation of a temporary or extended restraining order issued pursuant to the provisions of NRS 33.017 ET. SEQ. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit for time served.
Daniel Michael Ponce pleaded no contest to violation of a temporary or extended restraining order issued pursuant to the provisions of NRS 33.017 ET. SEQ. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit for time served.
Sept. 8
Leanna Estinou AKA Leanna Galvan pleaded no contest to misdemeanor driving suspended/revoked. She was given credit for four days time served.
A misdemeanor minor in possession of alcohol charge against Ty Dakota Stephan Mehiel was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office.
Mark Wayne Jason pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of count one: driving under the influence with one prior conviction within the last seven years, count two: driving in excess of posted speed zone 1-10 over limit, count three: obedience to devices for control of traffic and count four: driving while license is canceled/suspended/revoked.
On count one the court ordered 60 days jail with 50 days stayed for one year on the condition he serves ten days with credit for ten days time served.
The court ordered a $750 fine + $140 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee with credit for six days time served and a victim impact panel and DUI school were ordered with a breath interlock device for 365 days.
On count two the court ordered a $50 fine + $65 administrative assessment. On count three the court ordered a $250 fine + $105 administrative assessment. On count four the court ordered a $250 fine + $105 administrative assessment with six days credit for time served.
Jennifer Heckman pleaded no contest to misdemeanor theft under $250. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140.
