Gary Dean Wangen Jr. pleaded no contest to misdemeanor theft. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with $500 suspended on the condition that there be no like violations of the law.
Aug. 24
Shane Curtis Jappert pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence second offense.
The court ordered 60 days jail with 50 days stayed for a period of one year on the condition he serves 10 days with credit for one day time served and the remaining nine days converted to 18 days of house arrest.
The court ordered an $800 fine + $140 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee. A victim impact panel and DUI school were ordered to be completed online and a breath interlock device was ordered for 185 days.

Two misdemeanor charges of battery against Julia Guerrero Carrillo were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court pursuant to a deferred prosecution agreement.
