To the voters of Humboldt County from the County Clerk:
In the September 2, 2020 edition of the Humboldt Sun, I ran a Notice in my official capacity as Humboldt County Clerk entitled “Notice of Offices to Appear on the November 3, 2020 General Election Ballot”. In that Notice I failed to include the Republican nominees for Offices of United States President and Vice-President, Donald J. Trump and Michael R. Pence. I want everyone to be aware that this was not an intentional omission or an act of malice, it was just an unfortunate oversight. Said Notice will be re-published in its entirety (see ad at right). All sample ballots and regular ballots are designed in a different manner from local publications and contain all names of candidates that are to appear on said ballots.
