Union Township Justice Court

Items in the Court Docket are compiled from public records contained in the Union Township Justice Court and the Sixth Judicial District Court. The Humboldt Sun reports all felony hearings, misdemeanor convictions and dismissals for which the court releases information. When requested by the individual, the Sun will post the person’s mug shot with their court disposition.

October 21

A misdemeanor charge of basic speed 21-30 over the limit against Russell Leland Belnap was amended by the DA’s office to reflect basic speed 1-10 over with the total fines and fees of $195. 



October 22

Agatha Arellano-Sandoval pleaded no contest to misdemeanor unlawful trespass upon land. The court ordered a $100 fine + $95 administrative assessment with credit given for one day time served to cover the total fine. 



Jonathan Paul Morgan pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of operating an unregistered vehicle. The court ordered a $100 fine + $95 administrative assessment + $200 late fee and warrant fee on both cases for a total of $790 + $395 on each case with credit given for five days time served. 



October 26

Daniel Jimenez Flores pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct. The court ordered a $250 fine + $105 administrative assessment with credit for time served given. 



October 27

Derek Michael Dunn pleaded guilty to misdemeanor stop/stand/park, amended from an original misdemeanor charge of duties of a driver approaching accident. The court ordered a $50 fine + $65 administrative assessment. 



Andrew Tyler Deesing pleaded guilty to misdemeanor rural speed, amended from an original misdemeanor charge of failing to decrease speed upon approach. The court ordered a $25 fine + $50 administrative assessment. 



Gustavo M. Carrillo pleaded guilty to misdemeanor basic speed 1-10, amended from an original misdemeanor charge of speed 21-30 over. The court ordered a $50 fine + $65 administrative assessment. 



A misdemeanor charge of basic speeding 31-40 over against John Andrew McGrail was amended to reflect basic speed 1-10 over with the fine to remain the same. 



Rodolfo W. Chan Perez pleaded guilty to misdemeanor basic speed 1-10 over, amended from an original charge of misdemeanor basic speed - too fast for conditions. The court ordered a $100 fine + $95 administrative assessment. 



Jun Bai pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving on highway having multiple marked lanes for traffic, amended from misdemeanor charges of reckless driving first offense. The court ordered a $50 fine + $65 administrative assessment. A misdemeanor charge of failure to yield to emergency vehicle was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations. 



Richard Veron Spriet pleaded guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence first offense. The court ordered 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of one year on the condition he serves two days and credit given for nine hours time served and the remaining 39 hours converted to 78 hours house arrest. The court ordered a $400 fine + $125 administrative assessment + $60 forensic fee and a victim impact panel and DUI school ordered to be completed and a breath interlock device ordered for 365 days. Pursuant to plea negotiations, misdemeanor charges of obedience to devices for control of traffic, driving in excess of posted speed zone 11-20 over limit and throwing burning cigarette or other material from moving vehicle were dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations.
