McDermitt High School junior Katie Crutcher was named the Eastern 1A Offensive Player of the Year, selected by the league coaches.
Crutcher averaged 18.8 points a game this season in addition to 3.1 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1.2 assists a game.
Eureka’s Ilyhia Greely was named the Defensive Player of the Year, while Wells’ Garrett Hylton was named the Coach of the Year.
Jackpot was awarded the team sportsmanship award.
The Eastern 1A first team was comprised of Owyhee’s Cameron Paradise and Alejandra Dick, Wells’ Jackie Beruman and Haylee Sethman and Eureka’s Gracie Garrett.
McDermitt seniors Jasmine Northrup and Meianah Bitt landed on the Eastern 1A second team.
They were joined by Owyhee’s Jenna Sope, Wells’ Evelia Garcia, Jackpot’s Ariana Miramontes and Carlin’s Lachelle Doxey.
Northrup averaged 12.8 points a game, along with 5.2 rebounds and 3.1 steals.
Bitt scored 4.6 points a game and 2.4 rebounds.
The Lady Bulldogs’ Takayla Antonio was chosen to the honorable mention team.
That group was rounded out by Wells’ Jasmin Garcia, Eureka’s Kira Todd, Jackpot’s Luz Martinez, Carlin’s Miranda Rainville and Owyhee’s Makinzie Cady.
Antonio scored 4.3 points a game and grabbed four rebounds.
McDermitt finished 10-11 overall this year and was fourth in the Eastern 1A at 4-6.
The Lady Bulldogs took on Pahranagat Valley in the opening round of the regional championships and lost 47-45.
The Lady Bulldogs outscored the Panthers 25-14 in the fourth quarter to nearly complete the comeback.
