IRVIN JOSEPH CARVER

Irvin Joseph Carver (Joe) passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday June 16, 2020 due to complications of pneumonia.
Joe was born in Marietta Ohio to Irvin and Rosie Carver on September 12, 1957.
Shortly after Joe was born, Irvin and Rosie moved their family to the great state of Nevada. Joe grew into a handsome young man that enjoyed playing sports such as football and baseball.
He then graduated from Pershing County High School in 1976.
In 1984, Joe welcomed his daughter Chrystal into the world. He then dedicated his life, love, and hard work to her.
In 1994, Joe met the love of his life, Cathy. Soon after, they became married and made a home in Imlay, Nevada with their 3 dogs Sage, Ginger and Molly. He was employed with Eagle Picher (EP) for the past 18 years.
Joe had many talents, hobbies, and interests such as mechanics, electrical, welding, auto body and woodworking.
Basically, anything you could do or fix with your hands, he was your man.
He enjoyed 4 wheeling and spending time harassing and teasing his family and lived for messing up his sister’s perfect hair.
Joe was a free, stubborn, hardheaded spirit, a daredevil, a chance taker, a live on the wild side kind of guy.
A guy that would teach you how to pick the perfect melon from the grocery store a million times over, he would teach you no matter how many countless times he taught you before.
Joe is survived by his loving wife: Cathy. Daughters: Chrystal Carver and Desiree Anderson. Son: Joshua Sanders.
Mother: Rosie Carver or as Joe would say (Rosita). Sisters: Sharon Carver-Bender, Jacqueline McCartney-Santistevan and Susan Gordon-Larson (Robert). Grandchildren: Aidan, Madison, Katelyn, Jaxton, Aaliyah and Paisley.
Joe is proceeded in death by his father Irvin and brother in law Roger Santistevan.
At the request of Joe, there will be no services held.
He will be greatly missed, always remembered and always in our hearts. As Joe would say “no time for sorrow”.
