Larry “Cougar” Eugene Elquist passed away on June 1, 2020 at his home in Battle Mountain, Nevada. Cougar was born on June 15, 1931 in Oakley, Idaho to John Kimbel Elquist and Marva Jane Martin.
Cougar graduated from Battle Mountain High School. He was well known for riding his blue trike with his bright vest. Cougar loved all his friends at the Owl Club and the Colt.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings; Bill, Bob, Mary, John, and Alan. His children; Kevin and Kathleen and grandchild, Tracy.
Cougar is survived by his loving partner of 27 years, Janet Morgan, his siblings; Jim, Gloria, and Susan. Children; Craig (Cindy) Elquist, Karen (Jeff) Michael, Katie Brown, and Diane Elquist. Grandchildren; Rachel, Shanae, Kyle, Corey, Amanda, Celine, Avery, Spencer, and Becky.
As well as countless great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
