There’s still time to join the Pershing County Mustang 5K. People can register through June 20. All proceeds support the football team. It costs $20 to participate.
Everyone who registers gets a tee shirt designed by local artist and EMT, Brandy Carmichael. They also get a bib number and a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card or HydroFlask.
“You complete the 5K (3.1 miles) however and whenever you like between June 1 and June 20,” explains Coach Mike Brooks. “This could be on a treadmill, walking, running, hiking or even biking. Submit your completed 5K to earn your medal.”
