Letter to the Editor: Family needed answers, not excuses

Dear Editor,

After reading last weeks front page article about the Johnson girl who passed away, I, after much thought decided to write an overdue letter to The Sun.

I find it hard to believe that no one at HGH had the leadership, knowledge, expertise or common sense to expedite a treatment for snake bite on a 3 year old child but instead let precious hours slip away due to indecision, confusion or just plain dereliction of duty, then to top it off rather than an air flight to Renown they chose to transport her via auto again wasting precious hours.

According to the Sun article it was seven hours later that she finally arrived at Renown. TOO LATE !

What the hell was going on at HGH?

The family needs specific answers not excuses.

Our hope and prayers are with the Johnson family

Sincerely

Lyman Youngberg
