John graduated from Reno High School in 1955 where he was an accomplished athlete. He then attended the University of Nevada, Reno for a semester, and also during that time served in the Air National Guard.

John was a loving husband and an incredible father and grandfather. He was somebody who people looked up to and respected. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

The family would like to express their deepest thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Harmony Manor for the love and care that was given to John while he was a resident.
