Obituary: Diane Rochester

Diane Marie Rochester of Battle Mountain, passed away due to complications of health on June 29, 2020.

Diane was an amazing lady who will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” Campbell and Vivian Fritz; and by her beloved son, Jeremy McIntosh.

Her love and memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, Ken “KC” Rochester; children and step-children James (Annette) Rochester, Jimmy (Darcy) Drown, John (Catherine) Rochester, Tuesday Drown, and Angela (Marianna) McIntosh; siblings Vickie Fenn, Jerry (Rosa) Campbell,  Roy (Angie) Campbell, Billie Jo Campbell, and Lisa (Danny) McCullough.

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Diane moved to Battle Mountain in 1978 and was formerly married to Delton Drown.

She created a house full of love, warmth, and laughter for her husband of 35 years, KC, their children, and grandson Jon.

She worked in the local businesses for many years, enjoyed caring for the plants, flowers, and trees in her home and yard, and was a member of the Preceptor Sigma Sorority.

Her greatest joys in life came from being a Grandma to her many grandkids and great-grandchildren.

Diane treasured every minute she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren; from the small, quiet moments to the large family gatherings that occurred throughout the years in her home.

Her grandchildren Jon, Vivian, Jeremy, Devin, Diane, Joey, Jillian, Aislinn, Parker, Conner, Logan, Arianna, Jacob, Matthew, Tyler, Jordan, Fiona, Morgan, Kincade, and Gwen will fondly cherish the wonderful memories they have of Diane .  Although her time was short with her great-grandchildren, her love will live on through the many heart-warming and silly stories we have of her.

As of this time, a celebration of life has not been planned by the family.
