With the sports world turned upside-down this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 35th annual Silver State Rodeo was able to take place last week at the Winnemucca Events Complex. The rodeo features junior high and high school contestants from around the west and Canada. This year’s rodeo was opened up to contestants that finish fifth through 25th in their respective events in the shortened junior high and high school rodeo season.
