Charmagne Steed Hawkins West (60)
Charmagne (Charmie) was born in California on August 19, 1960 and passed away on June 20, 2020.
Charmie spent her school years in Ely, Nevada where she excelled in sports and academics. She was an outstanding volleyball player and was a song leader at White Pine High School.
She married Steve West and moved to Elko in 1978. She gave birth to her son David in 1979. She and her family moved to Winnemucca in 1982. She gave birth to her son Robert in 1984.
She was employed by Ron Seed and Phillips Furniture as a bookkeeper in Winnemucca.
Following her divorce in 2003, she moved back to Elko. Charmie greatly enjoyed reading and she had an unbelievable ability to recall every detail that she had ever read.
Charmie had a great ability to connect with anyone she met and had a fantastic sense of humor. Charmie will be greatly missed.
