The Winnemucca Junior High School seventh and eighth-grade volleyball team begins its season this Saturday in Lovelock at 9 a.m.
The Warriors travel to Sparks and Dillworth Middle School on Tuesday at 3 p.m. and will be home on Saturday, Feb. 8, beginning at 9 a.m.
Winnemucca is back in the Reno/Sparks area on Thursday, Feb. 13, at Shaw Middle School and will be in Pyramid Lake on Feb. 15 and McDermitt (Feb. 21).
Winnemucca will be in Elko on Feb. 22, Feb. 29 and March 7.
The seventh-grade team includes Danielle Scott. Crisslyn Rodriguez, Lauren Fettic, Presley Hates, Britain Backus, Allison Green, Olivia Espinola, Trea Northrup, Makenna Garcia, Bailey Elordi, Damiena Mentaberry, Jacqueline Cuevas, Dana Micone, Elma Jimenes, Myla Jones and manager Natalee Formby.
The eighth-grade squad is comprised of Hadlee Bengochea, Maddison McClure, Bailey Peterson, Alexis Galarza, Sara Cox, Alia Novi, Hayden Case, Sloan Fox, Miranda Draper, Mackenzie Chiaratti, Mikayla Dossey, Kelly Zhelayev, Jaycee Harber, Estrella Ortega, Cambria Tissue, Angeleena Burke and manager Destiny Medicine Cloud.
